Ecommerce and online video to fuel 11% recovery in global adspend this year
Adspend will exceed pre-pandemic peak by 6% this year. Digital advertising to take 58% share of the market in 2021, up from 48% in 2019. The average cost of television advertising is up by 5% this year, well ahead of its 1% adspend growth rate. The US alone will supply 46% of new ad dollars this year.
